Friends of the Belgrade Public Library auction is Aug. 18

BELGRADE — The Friends of the Belgrade Public Library Live & Silent Auction will be held Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Community Center for All Seasons, Route 27, Belgrade Lakes
The doors will open at 7 p.m. and there will be beverages, hors d’oeuvres and music by Rick Ray. The auctioneer for the event is Steve Smith.
The four silent auction items are a Red Sox duffle bag, donated by Generators of Maine; a painting of a local scene painted and donated by Linda Kohler; a necklace, plant, candle and gift card donated by Larsen’s Jewelry Store; two Quilts, two Books and a gift card donated by Judy Johnson.
The 16 live auction items are four Boston Red Sox tickets, donated by Bill and Joan Alfond; a gift card donated by Hammond Lumber Co.; two-bedroom suite for one night, donated by the Village Inn; a cord of wood, donated by Kevin Hawes; a Boston Red Sox Steve Pearce autographed baseball, donated by Becky Seel; a farmhouse firepit, donated by Gagne & Son; a photo package (family or graduation), donated by Kevin Couture; car detailing. donated by Central Maine Motors; oil painting, painted and donated by Rhonda Adlam; basket of handmade items, donated by Beverly Megill and family; a handmade doll, doll’s bed and bedding, donated by Jane Mason; hand-carved wooden bowl, donated by Cory Nash; a case of homemade beer, donated by John and Janet House; a basket of bags, including Vera Bradley, LL Bean and St. John’s Bay, donated by Becky Seel and Judy Johnson; a round of golf for two at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Course, donated by Gail Rizzo; four books donated by Earl Smith and Jen McGee; book ends, donated by Joan MacKenzie; a gift card for a pedicure and manicure donated by A True Reflection Hair Salon.
Friends of the Belgrade Public Library is responsible for maintaining the Belgrade Public Library, which all of the group’s fundraisers help to support.
