Students of the Month named for RSU 16

The Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club has announced its RSU 16 Student of the Month recipients for March — Greg and Kurt Leighton. These young men, avid basketball players, have displayed an amazing effort over the last couple of years to overcome challenges and struggles by accessing school and community resources to finish strong in their senior year at Poland Regional High School.

Each of them plans to attend Central Maine Community College with an interest in pursuing a career in the field of fitness and/or wellness education.
