WAYNE — The library will host First Saturday at the Williams House, 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, April 1, with all proceeds going to the Wayne Library Association.
Coffee, tea, and quiche, scones, and cinnamon buns will be served for visitors, who can shop at the ongoing book sale and boutique. The spring clearance sale features reduced prices on everything in the boutique, including gifts, art and jewelry, a child’s desk, a complete set of dishes, a brand new cooler chest that runs on a car battery and an antique skein winder. All proceeds benefit the Wayne Library Association.
The Williams House, donated to the Cary Memorial Library in 2012, is across the street from Cary Memorial Library, 17 Old Winthrop Road.
