Central, western Maine students named to Bates dean’s list

LEWISTON — Several students from central and western Maine area were named to the winter semester dean’s list at Bates College. The winter semester ends in April.
Named to the list were:
Emily Gibson, of Mechanic Falls, a 2015 graduate of Poland Regional High School, and a senior majoring in biology.
Tyler Simmons of Lewiston, a 2016 graduate of Maine School of Science and Mathematics, and a sophomore majoring in physics and minoring in Asian studies and mathematics.
Austin Dumont of Auburn, a 2017 graduate of Edward Little High School, and a sophomore majoring in politics and minoring in education.
Noah Dumont of Auburn, a 2017 graduate of Edward Little High School, and a sophomore majoring in sociology.
Emily Carty of Sweden, a 2018 graduate of Fryeburg Academy and a first-year student.
