Hiram library activities ramp up during summer months

HIRAM — Soldiers Memorial Library, 85 Main St., has a number of activities to appeal to a variety of patrons. They include:
* Knotty Knitters, Thursdays, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., all levels welcome.
* Scrabble Club, Tuesdays, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., new challengers wanted.
* Third Thursday Book Group, 11:30 to 12:30 p.m., “The Invisible Wall” by Harry Bernstein, June 20. Check with the library for available copies.
Interested in board/card games, quilting or other activities? Please contact the library with your thoughts and suggestions. Staff members will work with you to create the programs patrons want and need.
