Monmouth Lions Club announces ‘Speak Out’ winners

The Monmouth Lions Club Speak-Out 2019 was held March 11 at the United Church of Monmouth Packard Activity Center. From left, Coach Cathy Foyt, Kaitlin Hunt, Rhayna Poulin, Ed Zuis and Coach Scott Foyt. Poulin placed first and received $100 for her speech, “Youth Literacy in Developing Nations.” Hunt placed second and received $75 for her speech, “The Complications Andrew Faced.” Zuis placed third and received $50 for his speech, “The Magic of Magic.” All winners, Monmouth Academy students, received trophies.
