* NORWAY — Last year’s Foothills Food Festival had a successful inauguration, and now the local food council, Community Food Matters, is inviting community members to join the council in planning the second annual festival. A community forum will be held March 15, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Norway Universalist Unitarian Church. Participants will have the chance to share ideas and participate in a work group. The work groups’ options are marketing, fundraising, farmers’ market, food vendors, beer garden, education, music & entertainment, children’s activities, logistics and volunteers. * NORWAY — Stephen’s Memorial Hospital is sponsoring its fifth annual SMH “Run for Wellness” 5K Sunday, June 4. This run is for both experienced competitor all the way through anyone interested in participating in their first race. SMH invites everyone to walk or run.
* SOUTH PARIS — The South Paris Career Center is holding a job fair April 20 at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, 256 Main St. Businesses in need of workers are welcome to participate in the event. This job fair is open to all employers with job vacancies they are looking to fill. The employer MUST have their job openings entered on the Maine Job Link web site.
