NEW SHARON — The Upper Kennebec Valley Chapter of the Maine Woodlands Association will meet with Bob Bond of Michigan Veneer at the log yard on Sat., March 18 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Bob will guide members through scaling logs, what makes a veneer log, how to get the best scale out of your logs. This will be a rain or shine event, no need to pre-register, just show up, everyone is welcome. The yard is located at 5 Weeks Mills Road, at the Route 2 intersection. The yard might be muddy at that point so particpants are advised to park on the side of Weeks Mills Road.
