Lewiston-Auburn Metro chamber to host worker retention seminar March 23

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Metro Chamber “Retention Efforts: Now That You Hired Them, How Do You Keep Them,” noon-1:30p.m., Thursday, March 23 in the LA Metro Chamber’s conference room at 415 Lisbon St.

The workshop is presented in partnership with the Central Maine Human Resource Association and the Lewiston CareerCenter, according to a news release from the chamber. “As we head further into the labor shortage, and the number of applicants decrease, what will you do to attract, train and retain the talent you need?” the release said. The workshop is part of the chamber’s HR Thursdays human resources series. All workshops cost $25 for LA Metro Chamber members, $50 for non members and are free for CMHRA members.
