Mar. 62017

BRIDGTON — The staff at Bridgton Hospital wore blue to raise awareness for colorectal cancer and to remind the Lakes Region that the disease can be prevented with regular screenings, according to a news release from Central Maine Healthcare.

The effort was part of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. The release urged patients to speak with a health care provider about scheduling a colonoscopy, which screens for the disease.
