Rome meeting to discuss Mills foundation grant is Feb. 4

ROME — In order to fulfill requirements for a grant to benefit the Travis Mills Foundation, the town of Rome Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at the Town Office, 8 Mercer Road.
Discussion will focus on acceptance of a public service Community Development Block Grant.

The purpose of the CDBG grant is to provide assistance to the Travis Mills Foundation to buy equipment.
Public comments will be solicited at the hearing and will be submitted as part of the Project Development Phase. All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the acceptance of the grant may attend.
Comments may also be submitted in writing to Richard LaBelle, 8 Mercer Road, Rome, ME 04963 at any time before the public hearing.
