NORWAY – The first baby born in 2019 at Stephens Memorial Hospital Family Birthplace was Makenna Nancy Frye, who was born at 3:22 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1.
Makenna is the daughter of Luke and Cynthia Frye and the sister of Lauren, of Norway. She arrived just a few days shy of her due date at 8 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 21 inches.
Makenna came into the world with the help of Dr. Jeanette Andrews of Western Maine OB/GYN.
As part of the celebration Stephens Memorial Hospital presented Makenna and her family with gifts donated by area businesses including Oxford Hannaford and New Balance.
