FARMINGTON — The next meeting of the Franklin County Democratic Committe will be fromm 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at Mallett School.
Following a brief report on the upcoming inauguration of Franklin County resident and new governor, Janet Mills, the committee will introduce its new executive committee and elect a new alternate representative to the Democratic State Committee.
Among other new business will be meetings of five action groups to prepare plans for the year ahead: Community Outreach, Fundraising, Elections, Government Watchdog, and 21st Century Technology and Data.
The committee’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast, will be held Saturday, March 16, at the VFW Hall in Jay.
