BELGRADE — The Belgrade Holiday Craft Fair and Gingerbread House Contest, followed by the Belgrade Lakes holiday stroll, is Saturday, Dec. 1.
The Craft Fair and Gingerbread House Contest is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Center for All Seasons, Route 27, just south of Belgrade Lakes Village.
The craft fair features crafters from around Maine, Maine mystery writers, lunch for sale, and more.
The gingerbread house contest is open to all, with a $10 entry fee per house, and categories include individuals, families and groups. Those participating can bring one from home or make it at the craft fair using provided materials. Prizes are donated by craft show vendors and judging is at 2 p.m.
The stroll begins with the tree lighting at 4 p.m. at the village square. Luminaries will light the walk through the village, and there are horse drawn wagon rides, time with Santa, s’mores, holiday cookies and more at village businesses.
