CASCO — Christmas in Casco Village begins at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, with the tree lighting on the Village Green, children’s activities after at the Community Center, cookie decorating, craft-making, and a visit from Santa.
On Saturday, Dec. 1, the Village Fair and lobster roll luncheon are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road, Route 121. There will be vendors, shopping, a cookie walk, wreaths, music, and a lobster roll and corn chowder luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Also on Saturday, the Casco Public Library will have special Saturday hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with book sale, trash and treasure table, upcycled book crafts, music with Ukulele Deb and friends, and stories and pictures with Santa from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, the first Sunday of Advent, the Casco Village Church UCC will hold a special 10 a.m. worship service and hanging of the greens by the Sunday School children.
The Casco Public Library will be open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and throughout the day will have make and take”Christmas crafts for kids, early Christmas shopping sale on books, gifts and treasures of all kinds, a free Christmas raffle, and a Christmas Tea from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
