AUBURN — Auburn recently found its “perfect” Christmas tree, and the Auburn Public Works Department installed it at Festival Plaza on Main St. Wednesday, Nov. 7.
The fir was donated by Joan Combs of Maple Point.
The route to its final destination included Poland Road to Minot Avenue to Court Street, then Mechanics Row to Main Street.
Cote Crane and Rigging of Auburn donates time and equipment to assist with moving and installing the city’s tree each year.
The tree will be illuminated on Nov. 24 as part of the “Twin Cities Holiday Celebration,” officially kicking off the holiday season. It will remain at Festival Plaza throughout the holiday season, including Auburn’s first ever “New Year’s Auburn” event!
