Kennebec County Soil & Water Conservation District election deadline Nov. 30

AUGUSTA — The Kennebec County Soil & Water Conservation District has opened its election for district supervisor, the only elected position for this year. That position starts Jan. 1, and is a three-year term of office. Tom Doore of Augusta is running to fill that position.

Write-in candidates continue to be eligible. Ballots are available at the Kennebec District office.
The deadline for the election is Friday, Nov. 30. Any registered voter wishing to vote may contact the district to receive a ballot or visit the office, 21 Enterprise Drive, and cast a ballot. All registered voters residing or owning land within the Kennebec District boundaries are eligible to vote. All completed ballots must be received on or before the afternoon of Nov. 30 at 4 p.m.
