Western Maine Art Gallery hosts BIG II exhibit in November

NORWAY — The Western Maine Art Group is hosting BIG II in November, a reprise of last year’s BIG show at the Lajos Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St. A reception will open the exhibit will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

There will also be a closing reception on Nov. 30. The exhibit will showcase large and very large paintings by 15 members of the Western Maine Art Group. It is an opportunity for viewers and creators to see their large work from a distance. This year there will be a three dimensional component with Don Best’s new large sculptures. Exhibiting artists include Sandra Bell, Don Best, Deborah DeShon, Eric Dibner, Rochelle Draper, Mike Everett, Ulla Hansen, Suzanne Hardy, Linda Jones, Reed McClain, Nikki Millonzi, Judson Pealer, OmDevi Reynolds, Becky Robbins, Judy Schneider and Jo Thomas.
