LEWISTON — The annual Veterans Day program will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Lewiston Armory. The Lewiston and Auburn Veterans Council is inviting color guards and honor guards from veterans organizations, as well as from police, fire, Shrine, Knights of Columbus and youth organizations to join them in the program.
High school bands and choirs are also invited to perform in the musical tribute to veterans, which will follow the pass in review by color guards.
The lineup is at 9 a.m. and there will be free coffee and doughnuts for participants, provided by American Legion Post 22 and Auxiliary, served beginning at 9 a.m.
