CANTON — The Canton Historical Society will present “A Salute to Veterans: A Weekend-long Celebration of Our Men and Women in Uniform,”in honor of veterans day.
It will take place Friday through Sunday, Nov. 9 to 11, at 25 Turner St.
Events include a 1940s USO-style dance party from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, as well as museum exhibits that be held throughout the weekend, and a World War II history presentation from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, on Veterans Day.
The museum will hold extended hours throughout the weekend: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
