AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St., will welcome back Mad Science of Maine for a Halloween show Monday, Oct. 29, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room.
The Halloween Science Adventure starts off with a spooky — but not too spooky — Halloween story about Dr. Erlenmeyer Funkenstein and the Mad Science Goblin.
There will also be science tricks and treats, including a magic bag– boo! it won’t bite — as well as gooey eyeballs and what can happen to scientists who do not follow proper safety rules. there will also be a foaming Jack o’ lantern, ghosts appearing out of thin air, and a chemical reaction that will light up the room. Finally, ultraviolet light will reveal an interesting visitor.
The show is free and designed for school-age children.
