NORTH TURNER – The North Turner Union Presbyterian Church will host its annual Harvest Supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the GAR Hall, Howes Corner Road (Route 219), approximately one-quarter mile east of the routes 4 and 219 intersection.
The Harvest Supper is the church’s most popular supper. It features all the foods that make autumn so great, such as roast turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, stuffing, peas, squash, yeast rolls and a variety of homemade pies.
The supper is also the last chance to bid on a handmade quilt. The winner will be announced at the supper. Donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds benefit the church’s community outreach programs, which include the Turner Food Bank and Community Clothing Center.
