WINTHROP — CODA Chorus, now in its 50th year, is looking for new members.
It is an all-inclusive community chorus with the goal of providing an opportunity for local singers of all backgrounds and abilities to join one another in song. It is open to any community members, high school age and older. Previous choral experience or music-reading skills are not required, but are welcome. There are no auditions.

The first fall rehearsal is from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the Winthrop United Methodist Church, 58 Main St.
There will be a 6 p.m. meet and greet at the first two rehearsals, Tuesdays Sept. 4 and 11.
The chorus will be accepting new choir members throughout the month of September. Those who are just curious may attend a rehearsal to see what it’s like. Long-standing members should feel free to bring a friend along to share in the joy of singing together.
This winter’s concert theme is “Gathering for the holidays to drive the cold winter away.” The chorus will sing old favorites such as “White Christmas,” “There’s No place Like Home for the Holidays,” “In the Bleak Midwinter,” as well as some surprises.
