FARMINGTON — The Mount Blue Area Garden Club has invited the public to attend its Sept. 11 meeting, where the guest speaker will be Ellen Gibson, who will talk about gardening as you age.
The meeting will be at 12:30 p.m., beginning with a social hour, followed by the speaker at 1 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road.
Finger food and beverages will be supplied by our hostesses Sarah Parr and Roxanne Worster.
Gardeners who want to garden gracefully as they put their plants to bed this fall will learn how from Gibson, who will discuss adaptations that will keep gardeners from getting sore.
The club has invited all attending the Farmington Fair, from Sept. 16 to 22, to stop by and enjoy the Mt. Blue Area Gardening Club exhibit, where members will be there to answer gardening questions.
