FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, together with Woodlands Senior Living Center, is offering a legislative forum for all Franklin County legislative candidates to speak.
The forum will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, in the Bass Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
Expected to attend are:
Jan Collins and Russell Black, candidates for Senate District 17; Christina Riley and Robert Staples, candidates for House District 74; Thomas Skolfield and Cynthia Soma-Hernandez, candidates for House District 112; Scott Landry and Paul Brown, candidates for House District 113; Randall Hall, Cherieann Harrison and Matt Lord Jr., candidates for House District 114
All candidates invited accepted the invitation to attend and speak. The candidates will have time for an opening remark, will be asked three questions formulated by the Legislative Committee of the chamber, with an additional two questions coming from the audience. Each candidate will then be given time for closing remarks.
The chamber is also hosting a gubernatorial forum, from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, in the same location. It will follow a similar format.
