BRIDGTON — The Lake Region Community Chorus is seeking people who have a love of singing and want to make a joyful noise with fellow choral music lovers to become members.
The group is made up of 55 members from 14 area towns. The fairly young choral organization is looking forward to starting its 12th session of rehearsing and performing. The first rehearsal will be Monday, Sept. 10, in the Twitchell Chapel at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton.
Rehearsals are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday evenings. Registration begins at 6 p.m. Sept. 10, and there is a $25 registration fee that helps cover the cost of the music.
Registration also will be held at the Sept. 17 rehearsal. There is a two-week trial period if needed.
Concerts are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m.
