WINTHROP — Teenage fiddlers Owen Kennedy and Josh White will perform at Winthrop United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16.
Joining teenagers Kennedy and White (ages 13 and 17) for a few tunes from the Shetland Islands will be local musician Ellen Gawler.
The due play music from Quebec and the Canadian Maritimes, as well as Eastern Europe, Ireland and Scotland, and back home to Maine. They showcase a variety of instruments in addition to their fiddles, including banjo, guitar, mandolin, bodhran and feet.
The church is at 58 Main St. Suggested minimum donations are $5 for adults and $15 for a family. Parking is available on the street or at the church parking lots on either side of the church, with additional parking at the town parking lot by the post office.
