NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital is hosting a chance to kayak under the full moon, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26.
The event will be led by Lorie Olson, and takes off from the Crockett Ridge Road boat landing.
Kayaking at night offers you the chance to see a totally different world than you experience while kayaking during the day, organizers said in a news release. “Experience the brilliance of the moon when it shines its brightest and lights our way as we paddle on beautiful Norway Lake.”
The event will be canceld in the event of bad weather. Headlamps or flashlights are optional; participants should dress accordingly and bring a snack and water.
