WILTON — The winners of the events at the 36th Wilton Blueberry Festival have been announced.
The festival took place Aug. 4 and 5.
Art show winners were: Best in Show — Betsy Bass, “Blueberries,” photography; Best Themed piece (Christmas in August) — Lacey Grant, “Snowy Night,” acrylic painting; Aspiring Young Artist award (ages 4-14) — Lauryn Walston, 14, “Hope,” watercolor painting. Honorable mentions were Alissa Geis, “Noodle Maker,” acrylic painting and Madeliene Boardman, “The Interpretation of Water,” mixed media.
Doll and Bike Parade winners were: 1st place — Olivia White, Riley Hall, Natalie Kline, Jackson White and Finley Burdin; 1st Bike — Kinsley Jewett.
Decorating home contest: 1st place — Dalene Tyler; 2nd place — Stephanie Hopkins and Darby Rose Lin Sabin; 3rd place — Patti Toothaker; Honorable Mention — Holly Robinson.
Cornhole Tournament: 1st place — Team Awesome; 2nd place — Team Doug and Rachael; 3rd place — The Huskers.
The winners received Chamber Bucks, and Team Awesome will also receive a 3D printed trophy, courtesy of Expenet Technologies.
