Delta Masonic Lodge donates to Lovell school programs

Aug. 72018

LOVELL — The members of Delta Masonic Lodge 153 recognized two worthy programs in the School Administrative District 72 and Lovell area with donations on June 7.
The donation money was raised by a spaghetti dinner and a grocery raffle.

New Suncook School in Lovell has instituted a math recognition program in which students receive rewards for their hard work and accomplishments. This is the second year the members of Delta Lodge have contributed and supported the program. The donation was $500.
The math recognition donation was matched 2 to 1 by the Grand Lodge of Maine and its Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation. SAD 72 has promoted the Sunshine Backpack program, which provides meals for children in the district on the weekends and days off from school. The donation was $950.
Delta Lodge has supported this for many years. For further information on the fundraising, contact any Delta Masonic Lodge member or Master Alden C. Brown at 1-207-890-4206, or Delta Lodge Secretary Douglas A. Taft Sr at 1-207-450-6123.
