AUGUSTA — The annual Friends of the Lithgow Library book sale will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 23 through 25, in the community meeting room of the Lithgow Public Library at 45 Winthrop St.
The event is cash only; checks or credit cards are not accepted.
The hours will be as follows:
Thursday — 4 to 7 p.m., for a special preview. The fee is $10 at the door for early bird shopping during this time.
Friday — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday — 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Drop off all donations by Aug. 17 at the latest, and ensure that they meet the following criteria:
No mold, stains, mildew, loose or split bindings. Also, no textbooks, condensed editions, encyclopedias or magazines.
The book sale is free and open to the public.
