WAYNE — The Cary Memorial Library, 7 Old Winthrop Road, will hold a loon-themed lobster roll lunch, bake and book sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.
The event will include a 5k walk/run beginning at the elementary school, 48 Pond Road.
Additionally, there will be a queen-sized quilt raffle, children’s crafts, and a loon-calling contest at 11 a.m. for all ages. The lunch will include chips, pickles, drinks and homemade blueberry cake. Options include a chicken salad roll/plate and children’s peanut butter and jelly.
The library’s Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road, will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If there is inclement weather, events will be held at the Fellowship Hall of the Wayne Community Church, 22 Old Winthrop Road.
