SOUTH PARIS — Nichole Nordeman will be performing at the Paris Hill Music Festival Friday, Aug. 10, at 7 p.m. The concert will be at the First Baptist Church of Paris, 500 Paris Hill Road.
Nordeman was raised in Colorado Springs, Colo., where she played the piano in church. She got her start when she entered a Gospel Music Association contest in Los Angeles,was noticed by a music producer.

Nordeman is a top Christian artist who has had four number 1 and seven top five singles, along with nine Dove awards from the Gospel Music Association and two Female Vocalist of the Year awards from the GMA.
She sings songs, many written by herself, about her personal journeys of divorce, parenting and the struggle of being a” real person” Christian in today’s culture.
Her best-known songs include “Why,” “This Mystery,” “Holy,” “Legacy,” “Brave,” and “What If.” She also sang a song on the soundtrack “Music Inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia” called “I Will Believe.”
The concert is at 7 p.m. and the doors open at 6:30 p.m. for general admission seating. Free parking is available on site.
