Poland Spring Preservation Society hosts Maine Highland Fiddlers July 23

POLAND SPRING — The Poland Spring Preservation Society will host the Maine Highland Fiddlers at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 23.
The Maine Highland Fiddlers are part of a traditional Celtic music revival that thrives throughout the North Atlantic rim.

Along with fiddles, the group of seven musicians includes guitar, bodhran, and piano in their concerts. Their music recaptures the kitchen party atmosphere that is central to the Celtic tradition. Poland Spring Preservation Society hosts free concerts every Monday evening throughout the summer. Concerts will take place outside at the Gazebo at Poland Spring Resort. In case of rain, concerts will be held in the All Soul’s Chapel. All concerts are free and open to the public.
