LEWISTON — The Education Center at SeniorsPlus has announced its July calendar of events and programs. Unless stated otherwise, classes are free and located at 8 Falcon Road.
Fraud & Scams will be discussed from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24.
Valerie Cole of SeniorsPlus will conduct the workshop and provide information needed to determine what is real and what is a scam. What does fraud look like? What are the latest scams out there? How do you recognize fraud? Find out what you can do to protect yourself and where to go to report things so others don’t become the next victim.
Other topics for the month include senior employment, Parkinson’s disease,safe driving, legal planning for seniors and low-carb cooking.
