AUBURN — East Auburn Baptist Church will celebrate its new $4.1 million building Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24, with an open house.
The staff of the church will give tours inside the new 17,000-square-foot wing, which has staff offices, meeting/classrooms, a music room, youth room, 142-seat chapel, cafe and an expanded foyer and welcome center.
The open houses will be at 6:15 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The church is at 560 Park Ave.
The building project was the largest in the 210-year history of the church. Approximately 1,200 people regularly attend weekend services at the church.
The new building will allow EABC to add programs and ministries for people of all ages, and extend their outreach to the community.
