FAIRFIELD — Victor Grange 49, located between Routes 23 and 139, will hold a Hidden Garden Tour between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23.
This garden tour will take people off the beaten path, down country roads and into the woods for a look at eight very different gardens.
Some gardens are quirky, others more formal; some, feature flowers, other vegetables, nine varieties of garlic and sister gardening are also on display. Some garden owners will be available for discussion.
Tickets for the event are $12 in advance and $15 on the day of tour.
A picnic lunch consisting of ham, turkey, or vegetable roll up, veggie sticks with dip, chips a cookie and beverage — may be bought at the Grange hall for $8.
