Zielinski named chief operating officer at SeniorsPlus

LEWISTON – SeniorsPlus has promoted Holly Zielinski to chief operating officer. She was previously director of community services.
Tracy Smith has also been promoted to policy and contracts manager within EIM, the organization’s home care coordination service area.She was previous provider contracts supervisor.

Zielinski has more than 20 years of experience working with older adults and has held numerous senior management positions in health care and home care in Missouri, Kentucky and Florida, in addition to her native Maine.
In her previous employment, she managed multi-site senior living and healthcare facilities and was responsible for marketing, educational outreach, patient advocacy and coordination, and improving referral systems. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from New Hampshire College.
Zielinski will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the organization’s community services, nutrition and EIM service areas.
EIM care coordination connects people throughout Maine with home care services from respite care to extensive in-home care. Each program is designed to offer the consumer the choice of self-directing their care or having their services provided to them through a network of providers. EIM serves consumers first, offers choice, promotes success at home, and protects the consumer’s right to autonomy.
Established in 1972, SeniorsPlus provides services covering Franklin, Oxford and Androscoggin counties. The overall program goal of SeniorsPlus is to assist older adults and adults with disabilities to remain safely at home for as long as possible. The mission of SeniorsPlus is to enrich the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities.
