KVCAP Community Celebration will be June 9

WATERVILLE — KVCAP will host its 4th annual Community Celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Educare Central Maine (attached to the George J. Mitchell School).
The free family-friendly event will include a climbing wall, bounce house, petting zoo, face painting, cookie decorating, a temporary tattoo station and more.

A luncheon barbecue will be served from noon to 1 p.m. and Darling’s ice cream truck will be onsite.
This year there will be a variety of special guests, including Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Moana, Princess Elsa, Batman, Captain America, the Tooth Fairy and the Cookie Monster.
In addition, KVCAP tables will be spread throughout the venue, offering program information along with children’s activities, so that adults can learn more about available services and how to access them while their children are entertained.
KVCAP was founded in 1965 and is part of a network of over 1,000 agencies across America, all working at the local level to eliminate poverty and help people build their financial stability.
