GREENE — Family members have created the Brandon S. Bubier Memorial Foundation of Greene program to commemorate Bubier, who was killed in an automobile accident at the age of 21.
Bubier was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to ride anything that had wheels and a motor, his family says. He enjoyed sharing that love with family members young and old.
He would often come home and tell about his adventurous day in the outdoors. He loved children and they all loved and looked up to him.
The Brandon S. Bubier Memorial Foundation is giving away lifetime licenses in his memory to children ages 2 to 15 who live in Androscoggin County through an application process.
Applications are available at area businesses, town offices and local schools.
“It is our honor that Brandon’s tradition will be carried on for many years by offering children and teens the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Maine woods and waters as Brandon did,” noted his family. “We feel this act of kindness would be an action that Brandon would be very proud of.”
