LEWISTON — The June get-together of the Southern Maine Squadron, Sampson AFBVA, will be held at noon Thursday, June 14, at Governors Restaurant, 1185 Lisbon St.
The informal monthly get-together is for veterans who went through basic training at Sampson Air Base and their guests.
Sampson was a Navy training base from 1942 to 1945, then an Air Force training base from 1950 to 1956. All veterans are welcome to attend.
