Lithgow Library hosts discussion of Augusta trail system June 18

AUGUSTA — Lithgow Public Library will host :Get Outside: Explore the Augusta Trails,” Monday, June 18.
The discussion will be at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 45 Winthrop St.

The city has many beautiful trails just waiting for someone to explore, organizers of the discussion said, including the Bond Brook trails,the Kennebec River Rail Trail, the Viles Arboretum, Jamie’s Pond trails and more.
The Augusta trails system is steadily expanding, offering birding, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and other outdoor recreation to the capital area.
A free copy of the new “Get Outside” guide will be available at the session, which is free and open to the public.
