Nonprofits still have time to be part of Turner July 4 Festival on Green

TURNER — The 4th of July is fast approaching and so is the Festival on the Green, the Turner Public Library’s celebration of summer.
There is still time for nonprofits to sign up to participate.

The festivities will include a book sale, a beloved parade and the “World’s Best Strawberry Shortcake.” There will be a bounce house, children’s games and a pinata for the kids, music by Marty Lang in the gazebo and lots of delicious food served by several Turner organizations.
The Festival on the Green is also a major fundraiser for the Turner Public Library and other local organizations. If a non-profit organization would like to participate, contact Cindy Tibbetts at 207-224-8220 for more information.
