Cub Scouts plant tree at Norway Town Office

NORWAY — Pack 130 Webelos Den 2 recently held a tree presentation ceremony at the Town Office, planting a flowering crabtree with the assistance of Parks and Recreation Director Debra Partridge.
Paris Farmers Union donated the tree to the Scouts to present to the town.

The tree was planted to the left of the Police Department entrance in the park.

Webelos Den 2 used the opportunity to learn about trees and work towards earning their Into The Woods pin.
Scouts attending the ceremony were Simon McDaniels, Conner Deschene, Avery Monahan, Logan Ventresca, Caden Wilson, Hayden Hethcoat, Andrew Huber, Max Davis, Matthew Linscott, Damien Quillen and Sonny Durgin.

Armand Deschene is Webelos Den 2 den leader; Tara Gammon is Bears den leader and James Ventresca is Cubmaster.
