WAYNE — Cary Library will host a meet-the-candidates night featuring candidates for Wayne office, beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road.
Six people are running for election or reelection for three select person positions — Amy Black, Elaine Christopher, Stan Davis, Stephanie Haines, Lloyd Irland and Cindy Pettengill.
The event will include introductions, questions from the floor and other conversation moderated by Doug Stevenson, followed by an informal reception.
