Mechanic Falls Library to hold seed-planting workshops

MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Public Library, 108 Lewiston St, will offer a seed planting workshop for children and adults Thursday, May 31, beginning at 4 p.m.
Non-GMO heirloom seeds will be available as will all the supplies needed to plant several different varieties of plants.

The library’s future goal is to have a seed library available for patrons, including directions on how to dry the seeds for the fall.
The May planting workshop will be held on the third floor of the library and is scheduled to be repeated June 9 at 10 a.m.
