Stephens Hospital Run for Wellness 5k is June 3

NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital will hold its sixth annual SMH Run for Wellness 5K road race open to Stephens Memorial Hospital employees and the community Sunday, June 3. Experienced competitors through first-time racers, are invited to walk or run.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. on race day, and the SMH Run for Wellness 5K will start at 9 a.m. The race will start and finish in front of the Ripley Medical Office Building, 193 Main St. The entry fee is $15 per person, if registered prior to race day. Race day registration will be $20 per person. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K. Certificates will be presented at the end of the race for the top male and female runners in each age category.
SMH also will be having a Kids Fun Run prior to the 5K race. Kids ages 12 and under are invited to participate at no cost. Everyone is a winner in the Kids Fun Run; the purpose of this race is to get out and get active! The Fun Run is approximately one mile and will begin at 8:15 a.m.; registration is on race day only.
