LIVERMORE FALLS — Lorraine R. Chicoine, 77, of Livermore Falls died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 1, at her home with her loving husband by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 12, 1939, a daughter of the late Luc and Germain (Caillier) Goyette.
Lorraine married the love of her life, Robert A. Chicoine, on Aug. 26, 1978. They shared their home on Royal Drive for the past 38 years.
She worked at various shoe shops in Lewiston and for Livermore Falls Shoe Shop for many years before they closed. She enjoyed playing cards with her sisters and father-in-law and spending time at the casinos.
Her pride and joy were her three grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them and traveling to all their sporting events. She will be truly missed by her many friends and family.
She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Robert Chicoine of Livermore Falls; her three stepchildren, Randy Chicoine and wife, Sharon, of Turner, Cheryl Cornelio and her husband, Scott, of Turner, and Lorrie Chicoine of Jay; and her three grandchildren, Brianna DeGone, Anthony DeGone and Tyler Chicoine; three sisters, Theresa Michaud of Auburn, Jeannine Berube and husband, Bob, of Lewiston, and Anita Canuel and husband, Roland, of Lewiston; three brothers, Bert Goyette and wife, Sally, of Lewiston, Raymond Goyette and wife, Pauline, of Windham, and Marcel Goyette and wife, Irene, of Sabattus; two sisters-in-law, Annette Therrien and husband, Richard, of Livermore, and Flora Jones and husband, Albert Jr. “Sonny” of Livermore Falls.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Georgette Plourde, Rita Levesque and Connie Chabot; and three brothers, Conrad, Robert and Rene Goyette.
