Silhouette Project ‘For Them 5K’ is May 20 in Augusta

AUGUSTA — The Silhouette Project will host the second annual “For Them 5K” at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 20.
The Silhouette Project consists of 22 life-size silhouettes, each bearing the name of a veteran or active duty military personnel lost to suicide.

Veterans organizations will on site handing out information on programs available in Maine.
Race-day registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Kennebec Valley YMCA, 31 Union St.
There is a kid’s fun run, a 5K walk/run, and 5K adaptive race.
