Downeast Brass Quintet to perform at North Church Concert May 3

FARMINGTON — The Downeast Brass Quintet will perform 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at North Church, 118 High St.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a pie social and jam session. Anyone interested in joining the jam session should bring an instrument.

Children participating will get free admission to the performance.
Downeast Brass has performed in many New England settings featuring a wide range of musical styles.
Founder and arranger Dwight Tibbetts has kept the unique talents and skills of his colleagues in mind as he has arranged music specifically for the group, comprised of Tibbetts, Andy Forster, Mark Mumme, Mike Peterson and Loren Field. Since they are also music educators, they seek to reach audiences of all ages with original and entertaining programming.
